join us on Wednesday 22nd April for a talk on Sacred Geometry in Ancient Orkney
Artist, author, master geometer and professor of R.I.L.K.O. Nicholas Cope presents a summary of his many years work on the five and a half thousand-year-old Neolithic dwelling the Knap of Howar on the remote island of Papa Westray, Orkney.
Nicholas's illustrated presentation describes the site's geometric form and esoteric symbolism which are not apparent to the casual visitor. Nicholas will show us that the early peoples of Britain had a profound understanding of sacred geometry in which there are striking correlations with Pythagorean and Indian metaphysical ideas.
