UNE is BBC Radio broadcaster, writer and musician Mark Radcliffe and electro boffin, remixer and DJ Paul Langley.

Radcliffe celebrated his fortieth year in radio last year; 40 years of working in local BBC radio as well as BBC Radio 1, Radio 2, Radio 3, Radio 4,Radio 4 Extra, Radio 5 Live and 6Music. He has presented many programmes for television and is one of the mainstays of the BBC TV's coverage of the Glastonbury Festival. He is well known to The Greystones Backroom audiences from his performances with Galleon Blast, The Big Figures and as a solo performer and is a firm favourite with music fans everywhere.

Paul Langley was a long time habitué of Manchester's legendary, 'Hacienda' where he was a regular DJ fixture in the company of his brother, Bobby. Signed to Rob's Records, the label launched by New Order manager, Rob Gretton, Paul honed his recording, programming and mixing skills, working closely with the Factory Records family.

UNE's debut album was mixed by Jim Spencer who has worked on albums with Johnny Marr, New Order, The Charlatans and Doves and the first single from it has been featured on national radio with Mary Anne Hobbs and Jo Whiley particularly enthusiastic.

Since appearing at Bluedot Festival last year, UNE have cemented their reputation as a class live act and are playing across the country. They are currently working on their second album and in homage to their style icons, Gilbert and George, Mark and Paul have purchased dapper new, matching suits!
