Jon Boden is best known is the lead singer of the progressive folk juggernaut Bellowhead who sold 250,000 albums, had seven singles play-listed on Radio 2 and sold out hundreds venues including The Royal Albert Hall. Since Bellowhead split up in 2016 Jon has continued his development as one of the foremost names in English folk music.
Solo Jon performs the self-penned songs of Songs From The Floodplain, Painted Lady and Afterglow, material from Bellowhead, Spiers & Boden, and his A Folk Song A Day project in which he recorded 365 folk songs in one year, material from his latest album Rose In June (Nov ?19, Hudson Records) and more.

By day our Cafe serves delicious home-cooked food, Fairly Traded coffee & tea and homemade cakes & pastries. All with a nod to local and ethical sourcing. We cater for Vegetarians, Vegans and dietary issues, just ask if you need anything not catered for on our menus. We also have a Delicatessen serving our own home-cooked food daily.
On Sunday to Thursday evenings we host the best acoustic music in the City, specialising in Folk, Roots and Americana.
On Friday and Saturday evenings the Cafe is available for private functions, weddings and parties, please call or email for more details.
