Description

Fred Perry Subculture presents:

Nadine Shah - one of the most influential voices in contemporary British music. Renowned as much for her unique vocal power as her ability to rake across the humanitarian and political landscape, via bitingly visceral lyrics. One of only a small handful, and possibly the most intimate of, opportunities to hear songs from her ?contemporary classic? 4th album 'Kitchen Sink 'which was released during lockdown 2020. Certainly this 100 Club show will be the most intimate.

?...an album about women that everyone needs to hear?? 4/5 - Evening Standard

Sinead O'Brien is an Irish poet and performer based in London. Sinead's work captures the everyday and the in-between in a way that transcends genre. Her latest release ?Kids Stuff? has been picking up plaudits across the industry,

?Quite simply, O?Brien is a hell of a performer? - NME

Description

The most celebrated live music venue in Europe and one of the most famous in the world. Our longevity is due to an open minded music policy which has seen many different musical styles performed at this venue over It's long history.

Live music began at 100 Oxford Street on 24th October 1942. It was first played at Mack's restaurant (as it was then known) when British jazz drummer Victor Feldman's father hired the venue on a regular Sunday night to showcase the talents of his jazz loving sons and their band. The band consisted of Victor and his two brothers Robert on clarinet and Monty on accordion. They were joined by legendary British saxophonist Jimmy Skidmore for the opening night.
