Hailing from Bristol, UK, Daisy Chapman is an extremely experienced and well-travelled pianist, singer and songwriter. Since 2004 Daisy has recorded 5 studio albums/EPs and released 1 live album, all penned and arranged by her.
The music comprises of string quartets, percussion and choirs, not to mention her outstanding vocal range and 'Nymanesque' piano.The songs tell dark stories of love, lust and loss as well as peculiar tales from history.
Live, Daisy teams ups with violinist Sue Lord for her extensive tours across Europe. The orchestral timbre of the album tracks are replaced with solo violin, and stunningly accurate looped vocals - goosebumps every time.
Outside of her solo work, Daisy can also be spotted on stage with prog outfit Venus Principle as vocalist and pianist, and was also a long standing member of prog rocker collective Crippled Black Phoenix from 2009 - 2015. Daisy lives in the South West of England with her husband, daughter and dog, Piper.

By day our Cafe serves delicious home-cooked food, Fairly Traded coffee & tea and homemade cakes & pastries. All with a nod to local and ethical sourcing. We cater for Vegetarians, Vegans and dietary issues, just ask if you need anything not catered for on our menus. We also have a Delicatessen serving our own home-cooked food daily.
On Sunday to Thursday evenings we host the best acoustic music in the City, specialising in Folk, Roots and Americana.
On Friday and Saturday evenings the Cafe is available for private functions, weddings and parties, please call or email for more details.
