Known nationally for being one of the classiest Jazz and Swing singers and double bassists in the UK - Nicola Farnon turns her hand to the bass guitar for this much anticipated one off gig with her band The Made Ups. Multi-instrumentalist powerhouse Farnon will be singing songs from the recent album 'Made Up', accompanied by her ridiculously talented band including Steve Beighton on sax (Paul Carrack/Lulu/Will Young), Bryan Day on guitar (Tanita Tikaram/Richard Hawley), backing vocalists galore and surprise special guests. If funk, soul, country, pop and rock is your tipple - and If harping back to the glory days of seventies songwriting, with a modern twist, is your bag - look no further than Nicola and The Made Ups
(?Farnon's album....A superb set of songs which thrives on her vocals and outstanding musicianship...a well crafted love letter to the 70s" MU Magazine)
