THE Original Rabbit Foot Spasm Band with Skippy Gannon (drums), Stuart Macbeth (kazoo and dancing), Red Wilkins (tenor saxophone), Andrew Townsend (trumpet), Ross Law (trombone), Richard Brotherton (guitar) and Hugh Garrety (bass). The group will improvise smash misses from their back catalogue, alongside frsh numbers, and a smattering of obscure renditions of gramophone records, delivered in bad French accents. And they have special guests.
9-9.45PM. OCTAVIA FREUD. Astounding electronica from South Oxford. The only act ORFSB's kazoo player desires to imitate with a comb and paper. LISTEN!
8-8.45PM COUNT OF THREE. Super slick legends of Jericho Tavern indie-noise pop who we watched here as kids with dangerous fringes, conceding to be our guests. WE ARE NOT WORTHY!
7.30-8PM. JOHN HOUSTON. Solo guitar set from the South Moreton Boxing Club director and driving force behind the CORNERMAN project at the club, to address the issue of male suicide. John will pogo through numbers by some of our favourites including The Pogues, the Libertines, songs of Ireland, and possibly even a number by The Original Rabbit Foot Spasm Band. Get there early Pagans!!!
