This exclusive event will see Birmingham based Record Label Hillside Global and renowned Kings Heath music venue Kitchen Garden Cafe team up to host infamous troubadour Adam Giles Levy, celebrating his debut album release entitled ?Wake Of Disarray?.

Opening the evening will be Birmingham native Christie Reeves famed for writing music with the ?catch? and ?more-ish? sound of pop, entwined with the ethereal lyrics and instrumentation of folk, reaching thousands worldwide with her ever growing digital presence and loving audience. Drawing inspiration from Pentangle, Kate Bush, Freya Ridings and the natural world, Reeves blurs the lines between personal experience and storytelling through her songwriting. Making her debut in the folk-pop world performing her single ?Thaw? at the brilliant Moseley Folk Festival, the audiences roar of support provided a solid assurance of Reeves? bubbling success in her career.

Travel, Truth, Life and Lore are synonymous in the world of singer-songwriter Adam Giles Levy. Hailing from Surry, with an intriguing, self-taught guitar style, echoing the UK?s rich fingerstyle heritage while remaining firmly his own. His performance will submerge you in to a sonic landscape with a sensational voice and a visceral stage presence, it is an amalgam of acoustic bluesy goodness, apocalyptic rock and cinematic folk at their finest. Dynamic, profound and certainly not shy of using his lyrics to reflect on humanities big questions, Adam tackles issues as diverse as the climate emergency, spirituality and aspects of the social injustices caused by the dominant economic model of our time. As part of Adams European tour this fall he returns to Birmingham on the day his album is unveiled to the world to perform at this intimate show sharing songs of his latest release and other assorted works, certainly a night to remember!

By day our Cafe serves delicious home-cooked food, Fairly Traded coffee & tea and homemade cakes & pastries. All with a nod to local and ethical sourcing. We cater for Vegetarians, Vegans and dietary issues, just ask if you need anything not catered for on our menus. We also have a Delicatessen serving our own home-cooked food daily.

On Sunday to Thursday evenings we host the best acoustic music in the City, specialising in Folk, Roots and Americana.

On Friday and Saturday evenings the Cafe is available for private functions, weddings and parties, please call or email for more details.
