A Saturday night of wondrous Gypsy dance music at the new Jamboree in King's Cross with the brilliant Balamuc. The band play a mixture of upbeat, dazzling rhythms and beautiful, heartbreaking Gypsy melodies from Eastern Europe and beyond (from Romania to Hungary via Transylvania!).
Balamuc are a unique collective of musicians, with members from countries in Europe, the Middle East and Pacific. They play music originating from Eastern Europe that stretches way beyond the usual confines of their genre and aren't afraid to step into new territory.
Although renowned for their fierce violin and heartfelt melodies, Balamuc are best known as their life affirming, uplifting party spirit and boundless energy. In a relatively short time Balamuc has established itself as one of the leading Gypsy folk bands on the live scene. With the name translating to "House of insane' don't expect to stay in your seat.
