A Saturday night of wondrous Gypsy dance and klezmer music at Jamboree with the brilliant Balamuc and the Lowenstein-Middleton Duo.
Headliners Balamuc play a mixture of upbeat, dazzling rhythms and beautiful, heartbreaking Gypsy melodies from Eastern Europe and beyond (from Romania to Hungary via Transylvania!). They are renowned for their fierce violin and heartfelt melodies and their life affirming, uplifting party spirit. With the name translating to "House of insane' don't expect to stay in your seat.
In support we have two of the UK?s leading Klezmer musicians, Anna Lowenstein and Josh Middleton, meeting for a spontaneous and expansive journey through their shared repertoire of favourite Yiddish melodies and dance numbers.
