Former members of The Flying Medallions deliver gritty punk with attitude.

Front man Alex Brindle-Johnson is a modern day renaissance man, a plasterer by trade, he is also published author - having written a book during his commute to and from various London building sites. As Wonk Unit, they deliver a healthy dose of punk rock cynicism and bitter irony.

?With eight studio albums under their belt including  "Nervous Racehorse", "Mr Splashy" and "Uncle Daddy" the band have just released a live album "Live at the North Pole" (it may not have been actually recorded there!)

Alex also curates annual punk festival "Wonkfest" featuring a bevvy of established and new punk talent
