A Saturday night of live rhythm'n'blues at Jamboree with The Delta Du Bruit!
The Delta Du Bruit are one of the South West's finest blues bands, a hard hitting combo who deliver original, exciting arrangements of lesser and better-known golden era-blues hits. The band's solid groove gets people moving, and the details in the weave and groove of the arrangements get heads turning, with the incredible vocals of Kirris Riviere evoking old time greats like Muddy Waters, BB king and Buddy Guy. Their self-titled album is set for release in 2023.
Also on the decks in between and afterwards will be DJ Ritu, a trailblazing broadcaster, turntablist, podcast, radio and event producer, and the voice of the independent global music show A World in London. Ritu?s musical repertoire is richly eclectic, but she specialises in World Music genres and western chart music across the decades, incorporating Soul, Motown, Disco, House, Pop, Drum n?Bass & more.
Jamboree is a grass-roots world music venue and bar hosting Folk, Blues, Americana, Celtic, Mediterranean, Eastern, European, GypsyPunk and Old Time Jazz!
Jamboree is back with a POP-UP adventure in a different venue in Limehouse from December 1st!
