Mixing all the appealing sounds of Celtic groove, Americana folk, and stripped back-soul, Ewan and his band take the listener through dazzling folk roots stories?filled with pizzicato cello, fiddle strings, warm wavy guitar hooks, and Macintyre?s raw, but soothing voice.
This May, Ewan releases his fourth record; Twenty First Century Fool, created over lock down in Montreal and finished on the Isle of Skye.
His music has been featured on the BBC and CBC as well as in various soundtracks. He has performed on RTE?s ?The Late Late show?, ?The View? and BBC Radio 4?s Loose Ends and supported ?Hot House Flowers?, ?Coolio? and ?Hidden Orchestra?.

By day our Cafe serves delicious home-cooked food, Fairly Traded coffee & tea and homemade cakes & pastries. All with a nod to local and ethical sourcing. We cater for Vegetarians, Vegans and dietary issues, just ask if you need anything not catered for on our menus. We also have a Delicatessen serving our own home-cooked food daily.
On Sunday to Thursday evenings we host the best acoustic music in the City, specialising in Folk, Roots and Americana.
On Friday and Saturday evenings the Cafe is available for private functions, weddings and parties, please call or email for more details.
