We are delighted to bring The Hanging Stars to The Foxlowe in Leek. Recent recipients of the prestigious Bob Harris Emerging Artists trophy at the Americana UK Awards, this London-based 5-piece promise a mesmerising live performance.
With four acclaimed albums in their catalogue; 'Over the Silvery Lake' (2016), 'Songs for Somewhere Else' (2017) 'A New Kind of Sky' (2020) and last year's 'Hollow Heart', released through Loose Music, The Hanging Stars have cemented their well-earned repute as masters of a captivating meld of blissful psychedelic folk and harmony-laden cosmic country.
'Hollow Heart' was recorded at Edwyn Collin's Clashnarrow Studios in North-East Scotland with Dexy's producer Sean Reid. Radio Ulster's Ralph McLean made it his album of the year.

Paulie and Sam would later join and from that band evolved The Hanging Stars.
