A Friday night of dizzying world-gypsy-folk-punk, from Balkan to Middle Eastern and Hispanic to swing, and European folk music from East and West at Jamboree!
London's finest purveyors or Wikipedia-core, headliners Tiger Moth write specific songs about history, science and obscure footballers. Expect a wild mix of world-gypsy-folk-punk, ranging from Balkan to Middle Eastern and Hispanic to swing, often played at a dizzying speed.
In support, consisting of the Texas-raised Alexander Jones and Ontario born Dayna Pirso, Matsaema play traditional Eastern and Western European folk music on fiddle and accordion, alongside renditions of early jazz and ragtime favourites from the American folk Horizon. Music fit for dancing, or simply enjoying with your heart.
Jamboree is a grass-roots world music venue and bar hosting Folk, Blues, Americana, Celtic, Mediterranean, Eastern, European, GypsyPunk and Old Time Jazz!
