This week at Jamboree we have a taster session for our upcoming four part corse that runs from May 18th til June 8th. Peter Ayres and Aila Floyd from shag Pile will be leading the class with live piano accompaniment from Ewan Bleach. The evening will then continue with a 3 sets from The Cable Street Rag Band until 11:30, with a free jam until 12:30 so plenty of time to try out your new moves!
Fun, fast, and easy to pick up, the collegiate shag dance is seeing a resurgence all over the Jitterbugging world. A little bit like Lindy Hop, a tiny bit like Charleston, quick to pick up and a dynamic and distinctive dance in its own right, join us at Jamboree and slip another dance under your belt!
