Description

This four part course runs from the May 18th til June 8th and will be lead by Pete Ayres and Aila Floyd, with live piano accompaniment from Ewan Bleach.

The evening will then continue with a three part set from The Cable Street Rag Band until 11:30, with a free jam until 12:30 so plenty of time to try out your new moves! The ticket is for the 4-part course only, there is extra charge of £13 if you plan to settle in for the evening and stay for the rag band.

Fun, fast, and easy to pick up, Collegiate shag dance is seeing a resurgence all over the Jitterbugging world. A little bit like Lindy Hop, a tiny bit like Charleston, quick to pick up and a dynamic and distinctive dance in its own right, join us at Jamboree and slip another dance under your belt!

Collegiate Shag is an aerobic dance, so we recommend you wear comfortable clothing suitable for moderate exercise.
