A Saturday night of Balkan-flavoured folk punk at Jamboree with Worldly Savages!
Enamoured by the Balkans, Canadian singer-songwriter Erik Mut left his home town of Toronto in 2008 to live in Belgrade, Serbia. Inspired by the culture and sounds of Eastern Europe and the Mediterranean, he started Worldly Savages in Belgrade, ultimately making a touring band which made crowds dance and scream all over Europe with their contagious folk punk energy playing over 250 shows across the continent. Worldly Savages are currently based on the tropical island of Koh Phangan, Thailand. This will be the band's first UK tour since 2017, and second European tour of 2023, having already supported Kultur Shock earlier this year.
In-between and afterwards DJ Bouche will be playing a sweet selection of world beats.
Jamboree is a grass-roots world music venue and bar hosting Folk, Blues, Americana, Celtic, Mediterranean, Eastern, European, GypsyPunk and Old Time Jazz!
Jamboree is back with a POP-UP adventure in a different venue in Limehouse from December 1st!
