Description

London-based Indie-Rock/Alt-Pop duo Lost Romantic releases announce latest single ?Bad Intentions?, mixed by George Perks (Enter Shikari, You Me at Six), and distributed via Sony Germany. Having only recently formed last year the duo of frontman Freddie Long and drummer Kieran Leigh are already making waves in the industry, impressing with their hybrid sound.

Their latest single ?Bad Intentions? is no different, an infectious track that blends alternative indie-rock elements with dark pop sensibilities to create a fast-paced single brimming with energy. Backed by hooky rock riffs, impactful drum beats and Long?s emotive vocal performance, ?Bad Intentions? is a punchy, anthemic offering that revolves around the feeling of living on the edge.

The London duo will be celebrating their release with a special show on the 12th July at The Dublin Castle.

Since releasing their debut single in September 2022, Lost Romantic has gone from strength to strength, garnering support from the likes of BBC Radio 1?s Introducing Rock Show and BBC Introducing South. Known for their dynamic stage performances the duo have already played two sold-out London headline shows along with performances at Lollapalooza Berlin, The Great Escape and a showcase show at Sony Germany HQ where they were quickly signed to a distribution deal. Tipped by MTV as ?ONE?S TO WATCH? it?s not hard to see why fans are enamoured by the duo. Their latest release ?Bad Intentions? offers fans an insight into the band?s highly anticipated debut album ?LOVEXHATE? due for release later this year. With plenty more shows in the pipeline, 2023 is shaping up to be a breakout year for Lost Romantic.

Description

The Dublin Castle is a legendary pub and music venue located 2 minutes away from Camden Town tube station. It has been run by the same family for over 28 years and features 4 live bands every night as well as a great selection of beers, ciders and wines.

There are DJs after the bands on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and a fabulous jukebox in the front bar if you’re after a more relaxed atmosphere.

But what is it that makes the Dublin Castle the long-standing centre of the indie rock universe? Is it because it’s Madness’ birthplace? Because its stage has been graced by everyone from Blur, through Coldplay, Supergrass, The Killers, The Arctic Monkeys, Billy Bragg, etc? Is it because it was no surprise to see Amy Winehouse behind the bar serving costumers? Or Suggs? (who, mind you, tended to ignore costumers and serve himself) Or is it because far from being just another Camden venue it has established itself as an indie rock institution? The answer is that it’s not only because of its musical heritage that people come to the Dublin Castle, it’s because whilst you enjoy a pint, play some tunes on the jukebox, check out the live bands, get your dancing shoes on for our DJs, chat to our friendly staff or even stage-invade a little, you’re inadvertently being part of this movement the Dublin Castle leads, this cultural legacy. Expect no castle battlements. Just pure rock and roll royalty.
