Description

Four top Prog bands for the price of one featuring Haze, This Winter Machine, The Tirith and Stuckfish. In aid of Rhino conservation. This event will start at 4pm and continue until 11pm.

Haze have always drawn on a wide variety of influences, ranging from pop, rock, folk, metal, meandering psychedelic jams to tightly structured prog epics. Formed in Sheffield in the late 1970s by brothers Chris & Paul McMahon, they established their reputation as one of the hardest working underground bands of the ?80s.

Multi award-winning progressive rock outfit This Winter Machine were formed in 2016 by vocalist/song-writer Al Winter. Writing commenced quickly, and within a year they released their debut album 'The Man Who Never Was' The album was well received by audiences, press and radio worldwide They followed this with their sophomore album 'A Tower of Clocks' which cemented their reputation, After further line up changes, they released their third album 'Kites' in 2021 to critical and audience acclaim, building on and expanding their fanbase.

The Tirith came back together in 2010 releasing their debut album ?Tales from the Tower? to critical acclaim in 2015. The band play an original brand of guitar based Prog/Alternative rock but also now feature keyboards. They have appeared at many festivals including The Cambridge Rock Festival, Fusion and Prog for Peart, HRH Prog XIII (April 2023) and Sonic Rock Solstice. 2019 saw the release of their 2nd album ?A Leap into the Dark?, and they released their 3rd album ?Return of the Lydia? in October 2022.

Formed in 2017 by singer/songwriter Phil Stuckey and guitarist/composer Adrian Fisher, Stuckfish is a highly acclaimed British melodic prog-rock band. Following on from the critical success of Calling (2018) and The Watcher (2019), the epic storytelling brand continued with the release of Days of Innocence in 2022. The bands reputation expanded in 2022 due to extensive airplay and strong performances at UK Prog festivals.
