A Wednesday night of flamenco at Jamboree with the ace Leo Power!
Leo Power is a flamenco singer from Andalusia, Spain with a love for world music and jazz. Evident in her voice is the flavour of her hometown of Cádiz, the Mediterranean port that for so long was the gateway to the Americas, where Cuban music, Argentinian tangos, jazz, blues, alegrías, tanguillos, bulerías and chuflas meet.
For the last 19 years Leo has travelled with her native music away from Spain. Throughout Argentina, Holland and in the UK she has performed at Glastonbury, London Latin jazz Festival, La Linea festival collaborating with Daniel Melingo, Ronnie Scotts, Salder Wells and The Royal Theater in Dublin to name a few. Her voice and her charisma are always well received and her spontaneity brings something new to each show.
Jamboree is a grass-roots world music venue and bar hosting Folk, Blues, Americana, Celtic, Mediterranean, Eastern, European, GypsyPunk and Old Time Jazz!
Jamboree is back with a POP-UP adventure in a different venue in Limehouse from December 1st!
