Jennifer Bolton is an eclectic soul. A multi-talented and acclaimed performer, songwriter and singer. With a spectacular 3 octave vocal range her voice transcends any musical genre. Whether singing her own heartfelt compositions or classic covers, Jens artistic and soulful approach with her voice has seen her likened to phenomenons such as Kate Bush, Janis Joplin, Stevie Nicks and Whitney Houston. 

Her career spans more than four decades, and with over 100 commercial releases to her name, her unique and diverse vocal talents enable her to explore and perform songs from many genres. Soul, rock, pop, reggae, blues and theatre. This heartfelt eclectic virtuoso is creating a buzz right now on the music scene throughout the Midlands and the UK. 

Jen?s love for great songs can be heard each week as she presents The Jennifer Bolton Show on Brumside Radio which broadcasts every Thursday between 6pm and 8pm. 

Jennifer has also appeared in many successful television productions in the 1980?s and 90?s such as Sharon in the ground-breaking Gay Teen Film 'Two Of Us', Carmen in the classic BBC Comedy 'Bread', Sadie in ?This Years Model?, Sylvia Kaye in ?Inspector Morse?, Jackie Foster in 'The Bill', and Miss Plumb in ?All Creatures Great and Small? to name a few.

But music has always been her first love, and after putting the Jennifer Bolton Band together earlier this year they debuted at the legendary Jam House, St Paul?s Square, Birmingham. 

Jennifer is currently working on her new album Eclectic Soul, which will include funk soul reggae rock blues & pop. Eclectic Soul is due to be released early 2024

By day our Cafe serves delicious home-cooked food, Fairly Traded coffee & tea and homemade cakes & pastries. All with a nod to local and ethical sourcing. We cater for Vegetarians, Vegans and dietary issues, just ask if you need anything not catered for on our menus. We also have a Delicatessen serving our own home-cooked food daily.

On Sunday to Thursday evenings we host the best acoustic music in the City, specialising in Folk, Roots and Americana.

On Friday and Saturday evenings the Cafe is available for private functions, weddings and parties, please call or email for more details.
