In this practical introductory workshop, we'll be unravelling the mysteries of Tarot to reveal a rich symbolism hidden in the Major Arcana.
The Fool, The Magician, The Lovers, The Devil, The Empress, Death, Strength and the Wheel of Fortune are just a few of the iconic images to be explored.
With practical participation encouraged, you'll have the opportunity to experiment and discover how relevant Tarot can be to your own daily life.
The archetypes of Tarot have been a source of inspiration to many writers, including 20th century poets William Butler Yeats, T.S Elliot and Sylvia Plath, and the founder of Analytical Psychology Carl Jung.
Tarot cards can be a resource for understanding and supporting ourselves and others, a well-spring of creative ideas and multi-layered perspectives. Their uncanny ability to spontaneously mirror our innermost thoughts was summed up by Jung: ''Synchronicity is an ever present reality for those who have eyes to see'''.
