New Cross Live presents
Dreamslain
Epic progressive metal from Northern Norway. Hailing all the way from the Arctic Circle, Tromsø trio DREAMSLAIN combine extreme metal elements with classical influences and a progressive twist. Expect improvised solos with their unique take on epic metal - a live must-see for fans of Amorphis, Enslaved, Arcturus, Dark Quarterer and Uriah Heep! Their second album, Forge of Rebellion, was released earlier this year to critical acclaim.

Cruel Mother
Formed within the tolling of the Bow Bells, London doom metal band CRUEL MOTHER take their lyrical inspiration from traditional folk songs; particularly ballads of death and murder. They combine heavy riffs and crunchy grooves with the folkiness of the fiddle - think Steeleye Span crossed with Black Sabbath.
Their self-released debut EP, Cut Down for the Earth, was released in April this year: https://cruelmother.bandcamp.com/album/cut-down-for-the-earth-2
Tales of Perdition
Drawing inspiration from bands such as Nightwish, Iron Maiden and Trivium, London-based symphonic metal band TALES OF PERDITION combine dual guitar harmonies and thrash metal riffs alongside operatic vocal melodies and orchestration. Loud Enough Magazine describe them as "epic, narrative, cross-genre metal" - their highly energetic live shows are certainly not to be missed!
