?Both Sides Now? play the Joni Mitchell Songbook - This year celebrating 50 years of ?Hejira?! Event Title Pic

Description

The music of Joni Mitchell is celebrated in this performance of some of her best-loved
songs. As Joni reaches her landmark 81st year, these concerts are an extended homage to her life and work, paying particular attention to the ever popular ?Hejira? (50 years old in 2025!), ?Court & Spark? and her Gold Standard seminal album ?Blue?.
The show draws on a three-decade journey of Joni?s incredible creativity, from folk singer to mainstream rock artist, as well as her abiding love affair with jazz.

Both Sides Now is a five-piece band showcasing the incredible voice of Sarah Miller ? the band are all outstanding musicians in their own right, coming together in their joint appreciation of the work of a true genius. During their debut year of 2018, the band played at some of the UK's leading music venues and has gone on from strength to strength over the years, regularly selling out to ecstatic audiences keen to hear Joni?s songs played live.
The musicians' CVs include such notable names as Don Felder of the Eagles, Badly Drawn Boy, Ruby Turner, Bernie Marsden, & Corinne Bailey Rae.

Featuring the radio hits of Help Me and Free Man In Paris (from double-platinum Court and Spark), Big Yellow Taxi (her most covered song), River and A Case of You (both from the breakthrough album Blue), the jazz-infused stylings of In France They Kiss On Main St (The Hissing of Summer Lawns) , Coyote (Hejira) and of course Both Sides Now.
