The group was hailed as a modern-day Marx Brothers and their director, Dick Lester, credited with ?fathering? the MTV pop video culture that was to come.So what better time to celebrate the songs, not just from the soundtracks of these two iconic motion pictures, but from all five in their catalogue. Presenting a wide range of performances and events including music and gigs of all genres, theatre, comedy, dance and spoken word. We also hold a number of community based events such as The Stroud Book Festival, Stroud Wassail, Christmas Goodwill and offer classes & workshops and a range of exhibitions throughout the year.

The venue is also available to hire for performances and events, conferences and corporate events as well as private parties and wedding receptions.

Here are the Subscription Rooms we are home to Mr Twitchett's Coffee house and bar. The café is open Monday-Saturday: 10am-3.30pm serving a range of Jacket Potatoes, Toasties and Sandwiches and snacks for you to enjoy.
