Description

Mark Flanagan, born in Liverpool, is probably best known as guitarist for Jools Holland's Rhythm and Blues Orchestra, an association that began in1988 and continues to this day. During that time Mark has made countless live, TV, radio and recording appearances with many of the biggest names in the industry. Mark has also made a name for himself as a solo artist with his own catalogue of songs, written on Dobro and acoustic guitars. Performing solo, or with a small band, Mark wows his audiences with fine guitar playing and songs written from the heart.

Anew Day will be joined on the night by previous members of Dancing Years and their new musical projects. That is Good, D. Butler & Joseph Lawrenson.

By day our Cafe serves delicious home-cooked food, Fairly Traded coffee & tea and homemade cakes & pastries. All with a nod to local and ethical sourcing. We cater for Vegetarians, Vegans and dietary issues, just ask if you need anything not catered for on our menus. We also have a Delicatessen serving our own home-cooked food daily.

On Sunday to Thursday evenings we host the best acoustic music in the City, specialising in Folk, Roots and Americana.

On Friday and Saturday evenings the Cafe is available for private functions, weddings and parties, please call or email for more details.
