The Quill Feather of the Jackdaw? is a short play as part of the Vault Volumes anthology series (though the story is not connected to any of the other plays, so you can enjoy it whether you have seen the others or not). It is approx an hour long (plus interval) and is centred around the story found in the Vault Volumes.
In pantoville, two neighbours debate what to do with the Vault Volumes as the dame Summer Townsend tries to persuade her younger neighbour Donny Tongue to keep it as it might be worth a fortune. Meanwhile bad news is brewing as Bart Underwood-Farm is on a mission to acquire the book too, unbeknown to nephew (puppet) Sherbet Quinten the 1st.
